I am a graduate of Penn State Behrend, with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. The Plastek Group has shown me the importance of teamwork and communication when taking on larger scale tasks like implementing new automation systems onto the production floor. I have learned how to read robotics process code and adjust this code when required, along with adjusting the camera detection systems and proximity sensors that work within the automation.Six years of experience at John Adams Cycling and Fitness have shown me the business side of a company along with the importance of the customer. It also helps me further my knowledge of different technical innovations in the bicycle industry which I am very passionate about.Throughout my time at Penn State Behrend I’ve been able to participate in the Penn State Behrend Supermileage Club, which has allowed me to help design and further develop our competition car. I have gained experience running a drill press, mill, and band saw, which builds off of my experience in high school learning to weld in the metal shop. Other classes that I have taken at Behrend that provide me with the proper knowledge base to further build off of include MGMT 409 Project Management, ME 367 Applied FEA, ME 469 Metal Manufacturing Processes, ME 468 Engineering for Manufacturing, MATSE 259 Materials and Properties Characterizations, and ME 367 Machine Design. These classes have helped me further develop my time management skills, learn more about the manufacturing process with different materials and equipment, and develop technical drawings and reports.
Listed skills include Outdoor Industry, Outdoors, Action Sports, Bicycle Repair, and 21 others.
