Co-owner of Atlanta Rocks! Indoor Climbing Gym since 1995 and Hyperflite since 2000. Atlanta Rocks! was the first indoor climbing gym in Atlanta. Our focus is on fun, safety, and outstanding customer service. There's something for everyone at Atlanta Rocks! Over the years we've hosted Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, church youth groups, scouting lock-ins, birthday parties, giant fundraisers, holiday parties, countless media and television events, live bands and concert series, corporate team building events, sports team parties, quick climbs, novice climbs, summer camps, climbing competitions, and so much more. The more experienced climbers enjoy our more challenging top-rope routes, bouldering area, and lead climbs. Our youth climbers have enjoyed trying out for and participating on our competitive, travel climbing team. Our after-school programs and summer camps are also great for youth. Over the years, it's been my passion to introduce others to the sport of climbing and I've taught thousands of people to top-rope and lead climb. My entire family has worked at the gym at one time or another. And our gym is like a family. Employees and customers have met significant others and spouses at Atlanta Rocks! We've hosted numerous engagements, prom-posals, climbing proms, Halloween costume climbs, gym parties, and even a wedding rehearsal dinner and memorial service. We love our employees and we always put the customer first! Personally, my passion for rock climbing extends into the outdoors. In addition to rock climbing, I love kayaking, rafting, fishing, backpacking, camping, skiing, and mountain biking. I enjoy planning expedition length outdoor trips, at least once or twice a year. I've kayaked all over the country but make an almost annual trip to the Florida Everglades. I love to get off the grid and challenge myself. These trips require detailed, logistical planning.
