I pride myself on not only having an intricate understanding of the Plumbing, Trade Waste and Hydraulic Industry, but being able to communicate the message effectively with our clients, stakeholders and associated co-workers.• Experience. I have over 35 years’ experience working in the Trade Waste, Plumbing and Hydraulic Industry with just under 4 years in the role of Plumbing Inspector for the Townsville City Council. In the past 15 months I have been working exclusively in the Trade Waste department. • Results. I am a highly-motivated individual who is not afraid of a challenge. This is demonstrated by my desire to work in Commercial Assessments and more recently I was assigned to the position of Trade Waste Inspector. Both of these positions are regarded as extremely challenging roles and I have been active in this environment for the past 3.5 years.• Performance. Gauging by the positive feed-back that I have received from my direct seniors and more importantly the client, I believe that my attention to quality and efficient outcomes has been recognised by my peers.I have been involved in the operations and transformation of the Townsville City Council Trade Waste Department for the past 15 months which has been both challenging and rewarding. Understanding the business and initiating changes to meet the expectations of modern work practices and efficiencies is an ongoing evolving challenge that requires independent thinking, planning and implementation. I have both a Plumbing QBCC and Occupational Plumbing licence with attached endorsements for Back-Flow Prevention and Solar and Heat Pump. I hold a current Queensland drivers’ licence, classes C & R. My role with council at present covers all aspects of the Plumbing and Drainage industry with a focus on Trade Waste.
