Fortescue River Bridge Re-Construction And Marble Bar Road Realignment Project

Located 100km north of Newman lies the Fortescue River, the Project was to replace the existing single lane bridge spanning the river with a dual lane bridge which will be significantly higher and will enable a faster flow of traffic including over width transport. Supporting the new bridge will be a realignment of 1.95km of bitumised road. The final task will be to decommission and demolish the existing single lane bridge.
