I have experience working across Australia and internationally. I work with an amazing team at ERM, a global leader in sustainability. My team focuses on mining and incorporating planning mine closure and rehabilitation into operations. I have a strong technical background, with experience in the water, soil and waste aspects of the environment. I try to adopt an agile approach to problem solving and am delivery focused. In my role as a team leader, I am a mentor for others in my team, but enjoy learning and being challenged by those around me.

The key technical areas that Greg was involved in included surface and groundwater assessmnet, environmental impact assessment, marine sediment assessment, acid sulfate soils, environemntal site management and environmental compliance. While at KBR, Greg became a proficient project manager, managing a variety of small to medium sized projects from inception to closure and was also an assistant project manager for larger projects. Greg also actively took part in competitve bidding to win work for the team. Through his employment at KBR, Greg was also exposed to a number of technical areas outside of his main focus including stakeholder engagement, ecology, flooding, civil design, and coastal processes.

Graduate Environmental EngineerCompass Environmental is a boutique contaminated land consultancy based in Melbourne who deliver phase 1 and phase 2 contaminated land assessments, and carry out remediation works throughout Victoria and interstate.While at Compass Environmental Greg gained invaluable experience in soil and groundwater investigations and remediation. The role was predominantly field based and included soil sampling, validation sampling, soil vapour sampling, groundwater monitoring well installation and development, and groundwater and surface water sampling. Greg also learnt about other activities vital to the success of field programs including equipment procurement; project health and safety; analytical techniques; field and laboratory QA/QC procedures and database management. Greg also developed experience in site assessment including undertaking historical searches and desktop reviews, report preparation and production and conceptual site model preparation.
