I was approved by WorkCover WA as an Independent Registered Agent in August 2016. In this capacity I advised and assisted injured workers resolve all manner of disputes relating to their potential workers’ compensation entitlements under the Workers’ Compensation and Injury Management Act 1981. I also assisted injured workers negotiate lump sum settlements of their potential entitlements ensuring that an equitable settlement was achieved. Acting as an advocate I also assisted injured workers through the process of Conciliation and Arbitration in WorkCover WA.

I performed diverse paralegal work under the supervision of the Directors which included day-to-day management of a caseload of workers’ compensation and common law files.I handled the preparation and drafting of legal documents used in the Conciliation and Arbitration Services of Western Australia, as well as the District and Supreme Courts of Western Australia.I appeared in a vast number of proceedings in the Conciliation and Arbitration Services of Western Australia as a Registered Agent on behalf of insurer and employer clients.I supervised Law Graduates and provided ongoing training to other professional staff in the daily management of caseloads. I likewise supported insurer clients on the interpretation and application of relevant legislation and case law.

Having served as a Senior Advisory Officer with WorkCover WA, I counselled and supported all stakeholders in relation to their rights, duties, and obligations under the Workers’ Compensation and Injury Management Act 1981.
