Lead two diverse teams of professionals who are responsible for important and impactful segments of the business. As a FP&A and Inventory team, we are responsible for forecasting, analysis, budgeting, business intelligence, pricing, and ordering inventory that generated up to $850 million of sales per year. As a tax and finance team, we are responsible for tax liabilities exceeding $12 million in international, federal, and multi-state tax liability along with key responsibilities related to finance and accounting. The FP&A and Inventory team managed the equation of right boat, right place, right time, and at the right price for approximately 60 locations and 25+ boat brands. The team managed manufacturer relationships, commitments, ordering, maximizing manufacturer programs, and maintaining the Company's ERP with inventory details. The inventory team are also thought leaders in analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and providing business intelligence. As the named Director of Tax, I lead a team that provided in-house domestic and international tax compliance and planning services with responsibility to serve as key members of the finance team. Our contributions included, but were not limited to, planning and compliance around federal, state, and international tax. We prepared tax provision calculations and 10-K/10Q disclosures in accordance with ASC740 and GAAP requirements. As key members of the finance team we worked closely with the accounting, operations and legal team to implement legal entity restructurings, negotiate voluntary disclosures with state taxing authorities, financial due diligence/modeling, financial statement forecasts for bank compliance, budgeting, public company filings, and special projects. The team also consulted and participated in acquisitions both domestically and internationally, which included deal structuring, legal entity optimization, and tax efficiency.
