Joined Providence Health & Services (PHS) as Sr. Project Manager leading enterprise wide Kronos projects for the Workforce Management team under the Lawson ERP Dept. Developed Kronos 2015-2016 consolidation roadmap with ERP Leadership, plan execution included major Kronos Enterprise upgrade; two new affiliate integrations for Pacific Medical clinics & Kadlec hospital and consolidation of two regional instances of Kronos. Completing these consolidation projects made significant progress towards the Admin. Transformation goal reducing the number of Kronos Instances from 9 to 2. I lead a 15+ member cross functional team of from Payroll, Workforce Mgmt., Quality Assurance building out performance capacity for 100,000+ employees.2016 - Customer Relationship Management (CRM) project for Oregon Sales & Service, replacing their legacy CRM system with Microsoft Dynamics CRM. PM responsibilities included: professional services contract with a Microsoft partner for design, build and implementation of a custom solution plus successfully migrating data from 3 legacy instances. The new solution supports 250+ users improving their ability to promote and educate the provider community on Providence medical services and to develop KPIs for tracking referral metrics.

Leading complex application implementation projects deploying enterprise software at Healthcare Clients with an emphasis on business process improvement. In my role as consultant and project manager, I led a Kronos consolidation effort for a major NW Hospital system, which will provide streamlined time-card processing for employees and administrative cost savings for IS and Payroll departments. Delivered a Business Case and ROI analysis to help the strategic planning team prioritize implementation investment strategy, targeting improved TCO.

Leading a non-profit free health clinic supported by local Rotary International clubs and run by an amazing group of volunteer Doctors, Nurses, Pharmacists and Registrars. Volunteers contribute over 3,000 hours of service each year at our Sat. clinic, located in the McDermott Place bldg. in Lake City, WA.In January 2010, I led teams of Rotary volunteers to complete the interior painting and moving projects to open our new 2,500 sq. ft. clinic.

Roles included: Engagement management - overall responsibility for ensuring project success, providing oversight, change management control and communications between the client and Experis project teams;  Project management on large efforts; and Business development support, contributing healthcare industry experience to proposals and presentations for Healthcare IT service proposals.Lead implementation project for Computer Assisted Coding (OptumInsight CAC) application that supports ICD9 & ICD10.Supported Experis health practice capabilities to address the challenges unique to each of these sectors, CMS regulations for ICD-10 and HIPAA 5010, Electronic Medical Records (EMR)/Electronic Health Records (EHR) and regulatory reporting and data standards such as HEDIS & HL7.

As senior consultant and customer relationship manager, served as IT liaison to a number of different business units focused on implementing or improving business systems with the aid of technical solutions to further corporate objectives or meet government mandates.• Sr. Project Mgr. implemented a $3M Enterprise Care Management solution, CareAdvance. Increased capacity and savings by 20%. Managed vendor SOW, led diverse project team and design efforts for health risk stratification.• Lead consultant on a Call Center System improvement initiative to identify a BPM based solution, with a unified desktop interface to claims. Responsible for RFP, selecting finalists, and vendor evaluation. Led Procedures team in building process models for optimizing call procedures to reduce average handle time.• IT Relationship Manager for a Provider quality improvement initiative to outsource Advanced Imaging pre-authorization, reducing over utilization and saving millions in unnecessary costs. Launched 30 days ahead of schedule, adding potential $400K savings.• Directed integration of EDI transaction data with COGNOS decision support software to identify EDI submission problems, improving accuracy and turn around time on High $$ claims.• Partnered with Microsoft to implement a SharePoint Accelerator pilot to manage daily activity for case managers. Resulting application with intuitive navigation reduced new case setup by 20%, improved URAC audits and decreased training time. • Led Software Development Life Cycle roll-out project to formalize Premera’s SDLC. Outcomes showed much higher quality and streamlined releases, resulting in improved user satisfaction.• Managed the HIPAA Program for EDI transactions, successfully updating multiple platforms, meeting the CMS mandated time-line. Supervised a team of 40 including project managers, developers and contractors; responsible for a $5M budget.
