Develop and implement all organizational programs to insure compliance with OSHA, EPA and DEP covering employee safety, community awareness, air quality, hazardous waste management, emergency response and waste water disposal. Conduct all employee training for EHS programs such as Hazard Communication/ right to know, the global harmonization standard, lock out/tag out, flammable liquids & gas safety, chemical and compressed gas safety, respiratory protection, personal protective equipment, radiation and laser safety, DOT hazardous materials transportation and security awareness.Primary emergency coordinator for the facility. Responsible for developing risk management, evacuation and disaster recovery plan. Communicate directly with local police, fire, LEPC and other regulatory authorities concerning emergency response plans, Tier II reporting, hazard communication and site layout.Responsible for acquiring, maintaining or modifying all Environmental or other permitting to include Air Quality emissions, H-2 and H-3 class work area, industrial waste water discharge permit, Haz-waste generator ID (from EPA), Hazardous Materials Operations (DOT), storm water pollution prevention, storage of flammable liquids/gases and any notifications to regulatory authorities when certain chemicals are added or when use reaches an RQ.Manage all aspects of hazardous waste collection and disposal for a small quantity hazardous waste generator including transportation manifesting to a TSDRF in accordance with 49 CFR.Manage and conduct all custom chemical blending and point of use distribution.Conduct all EH&S inspections, monitoring and surveys, analyze data and implement corrective action when needed.
