Having spent many years with a Big 4 audit firm, I joined Mazars UK, a global accountancy firm present in over 90 countries, in 2014 to lead and develop the UK banking audit practice. These are very interesting times for banks and regulated firms with audit reform requiring the regular tender of the external audit. The complexities, challenges and opportunities banks face call for advisers with a deep understanding and interest in the sector. Mazars is one of the leading providers of services to banks and building societies of all sizes in the UK and overseas. In fact no-one audits more banks in the UK outside of the Big 4!I pride myself in being accessible; providing a partner-led service; and on the continuity of support from a team dedicated to the banking sector.
