Applications Trainer specialising in Northgate V6

Part of a two person team in charge of all ICT Training needs for 1400 staff. Software packages include Northgate Housing V5, Information@Work, Agresso, Office 2010 & Office 365. Currently in the process of rolling out Northgate V6.This role included not only conducting all classroom based IT training for the company, but also administration of training needs, and calendar. Responsibility for all E-Learning projects in company- creation and upkeep of course content and administration of on-line learning. Creation of Lesson plans, SOW's, all training documentation and user guides. I would often have to learn a completely new software application or type of hardware (such as IP phones), create the guides, lesson plans, E-Learning modules and then conduct software training roll outs for the company a week or so after first seeing the application. I was also responsible for IT surgeries, 1-1 lessons, floor walking and post training support. Researched and implemented how new technologies and learning techniques could be incorporated into our training to assist all learners over a wide geographical area (London, Essesx and East Anglia) this included Long Distance Learning, E-Learning, Virtual Classrooms and Webinars. Staff learner skill level also had to be taken into account from beginner to expert. I also gained experience teaching those with Special Educational Needs such as Mental Health problems and the profoundly deaf, something I found highly fulfilling.

Emergency Call Centre for supported Housing and Vunerable Tenants.Customers are connected to call centre via telecare equipment and can contact us at the push of a button. Calls are recieved on a PC which automatically brings up all information on customer. As senior Operator I was required to help the team with any problems, write up reports and statistics on call traffic and because of my training background also make sure the teams training needs were up to date As well as Senior Call Operator I have also been the Interim Manager for the office for 8 months, this meant line managing 16 members of staff, planning rota's writing reports on call volumes and reasons as well as training staff on the Systems used in the office.

Full control over the every aspect of the site. The design, look and implementation was up to me. I Created it using a combination of Photoshop, Frontpage, NVU and basic Java. Managers of the club gave me the information they wanted on the website and I did the rest.

Part Time IT Systems Trainer. Training staff in an number of software packages including Northgate V5, Academy and Tunstall PNC5.As well as teaching the staff these packages I also created user guides and acted as on call support for staff if need be. Because of my skills I can teach pretty much any package that I have a understanding of, this skill was used on many occasions.
