The Mid-Atlantic Center for Emergency Management develops and provides training programs for FEMA. MACEM also provides curriculum development services in the Homeland Security content area for the Maryland State Department of Education as well as county school systems. As Interim Special Project Manager, I provided oversight for two DHS/FEMA training program grants as well as a state GIS curriculum development grant. As such, I was responsible for maintaining our timeline for delivery, maintaining our budget and developing and submitting bi-annual grant status reports. In addition to Federal and State grants we developed and acquired a contract to create curriculum for a county school system and prepared budget proposals for two Task Order Requests from MEMA.
