Authored “Paddling Idaho” (Falcon Books, 2016), a 296-page guidebook to Idaho’s rivers.

Retooled internal and external company communications policies and procedures. Redesigned and rewrote website. Measured communications output on web and social media via monthly reporting to identify performance and developing trends. • At this 3,500-member environmental policy based nonprofit, duties included multiple strategic campaigns and extremely diverse tasks. Base duties much like a communications director, including monitoring regional media, writing and editing press releases, creating newsletters, developing online content, writing opinion pieces and letters.• Strategic planning of how such materials are used to achieve desired impacts.• Planning and execution of meetings with state and federal lawmakers, delivery of speeches and presentations at conferences and gatherings, delivery of testimony at government public hearings, outreach at public events and creation of a key policy blueprint used as a starting point in collaborative political talks.• Prominent environmental campaigns included Pacific Northwest salmon recovery, in-stream water rights advocacy and collaborative discussions about the future of public lands.

Researched and wrote stories for this internationally-focused online e-zine, concentrating on topics including species extinction, cultural diversity and ecological philosophy.
