Greg Stanton is a born and bred Cairns local. Before deciding on a career in accountancy, Greg spent 4 years in the local building industry where he achieved a trade qualification in carpentry. He also spent one year managing a local retail store, while attending University. Greg started with William Buck as a graduate accountant in January 2004. When William Buck Cairns was taken over by WHK Greenwoods in June 2006 Greg was promoted to Senior Auditor. In March 2008 Greg joined the team at Goodman Chartered Accountants as Audit Manager. He moved to a smaller firm to diversify his skills and gain experience in tax. He enjoys interaction with clients and thrives on expanding his knowledge. Greg completed the CA program and was admitted into the Institute of Chartered accountants in April 2009. Greg felt the need to start his own accounting practice in June 2011 to provide his clients with the personal touch they deserve.Specialties: Taxation, Superannuaiton, Accounting and Auditing.
