As instructional designer, my role has grown into leading the analysis, scope, design, development, rollout and evaluation of learning for an international, strategic HCM platform.While quality-reviewing the digital work of others on the project, I have defined the way forward for the designs, based on data gathered about learning needs.This includes driving the modernisation and transitioning from traditional instructor-led and digital learning solutions, to more modern and innovative designs that utilises the unique and inherent strengths of the digital medium.

My role as Senior Learning Consultant gave me responsibility for evaluating the delivery of each of the Learning Consultants in the UK and providing them with developmental feedback, whilst developing relationships between the learning team and our customers inside and outside the company.Having mentored each Learning Consultant on our new comprehensive and customised training methodology and practices (TaaS), I was also tasked with finding new and innovative ways of delivering our training to our learners.As part of my role, I would track, analyse and present observations/conclusions for key metrics of each team member to the ESI Director of Learning Delivery. These metrics ranged from Net Promoter Scores to the percentage utilisation of each training room and course.I was responsible for building vital relationships with internal teams and stakeholders to demonstrate our value to the business, through associate and client training commitments.Training plans were also developed by me for newer team members to efficiently be brought up to speed on the necessary product and industry knowledge.

This role allowed me to deliver an energised world-class training experience of combined HR and Payroll solutions to clients and colleagues alike. I have the opportunity to influence creation of training courses as well as consult for bespoke training.I was also seconded as UK Head of Training for 6 months during this time, to cover for the outgoing incumbent, during a period of departmental restructure for the UK team. Reporting directly to the UK HR Director and then Senior ESI Director, I was responsible for more than 10 team members.This included performance reviews, progression plans, KPIs and objective setting, recruitment and decisions on probation outcomes.
