A qualified and experienced Project Quality Advisor with solid operational knowledge. Having begun my career as a successful member of the Australian Navy as a Submariner, I have developed a broad variety of skills via both furthering education and experience. I have more than 10 years experience as a Mechanical Fitter (Maintainer / Operator / Supervisor) with the Navy and Contracting maintenance. Over the last 10 years I have been working in the Quality field within Project Management Teams, originally with ASC where I was a Senior Technical Quality Officer in charge of quality assurance/control aspects during maintenance periods on the Collins Class Submarines.For the last 4 years I have been working for Riotinto through Calibre Global as part of Project Management Teams for construction of new mine sites, a major accomplishment included senior level involvement in the Project Team responsible for the successful build and commission of two highly successful mines. I have been involved in the development, delivery, commissioning and closeout of these projects. Having worked within large national multi skilled workforces, I have the capacity to readily adapt and integrate within different environments with minimum direction. Through a combination of professional training and personal development, I have enjoyed excellent relationships and the respect of my peers and managers.
