I am currently the Physical Security and Resilience Manager for Ordnance Survey after 13 years as the Facilities Manager responsible for all aspects of Facilities Management. I previously worked as Business Change Programme Manager taking responsibility for the relocation of the OS from Maybush Southampton to a new site at Adanac Park Nursling. I have combined my background experience in Organisational Development and Programme Management with that of Facilities and Service Management. In the last year I have moved into concentration on business continuity and crisis managementI have held many different positions within Ordnance Survey ranging from Management and Project roles in HR; Supply Chain Management; Software Development Management, Business Change Programme Management and laterally business continuity, physical security and Incident management. In my career I have also experienced working in external organisations through secondments or in my own time.I have experienced working in all Business Groups in Ordnance Survey in various roles at all levels up to Senior ManagerI have been lucky enough to have spent time working as a Learning & Development consultant overseas with the Swaziland National Mapping OrganisationI have prepared and delivered leadership development training to AGI and other external organisationsI have represented Ordnance Survey at various conferences over the years on a variety of diverse subjects including Human Resource Management, Supply Chain Management and Software Development LifecyclesI have coached and mentored individuals outside of Ordnance Survey and helped them with identifying their goals and supporting their achievementSpecialties: I am professionally qualified in the field of human resources and organisational development and I was one of the first tranche of Ordnance Survey Future Leaders in 2004.
