My first question to a potential client or new acquaintance I'd like to do business with someday: HOW CAN I HELP?It starts with building trust and the relationship first. No one wants to REALLY do business with a person who immediately goes for the ask/close in the first meeting. I enjoy developing business relationships by helping them get access to what they need or assist in find answers to questions that require educated and informed information beyond their expertise. Creating networks as the hub is my super power. I've worked in a handful of industries during my 29 years of work. At the center of these industries and the positions I've held is SERVICE. If the service element is not maintained from beginning to end the hub will start to bend and eventually break. Even when the relationship is strained it is important to communicate and work together trough issues. This is essential to a long lasting and meaningful business relationship. HOSPITALITY:Food service and events. The bulk of my career has been spent in this space. Essential business skills have been developed during my time in this industry. Immediate rapport building, asking direct and relevant questions, brief and effective descriptions of items offered, and staying on top of the details during an event or dining experience are basic tenants of great service. COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE BROKERAGE AND MANAGEMENT:Honest and effective communication to clients that have trusted me with high value assets to be managed, marketed and sold. Not just telling them what you think they'd like to hear. Conveying real feedback from potential sellers or purchasers has been an important element to effectively servicing my clients. Attention to detail when developing the marketing materials so there are very few if any surprises and the property has been accurately and effectively described. Working with expert finance professionals with the appetite and desire to work with the property being sold.
