Responsible for managing and developing Jackson’s business retention unit and Sales Assistant Teams.Key responsibilities include:• Manage Jackson’s Annuity Support Unit consisting of 4 registered representatives. Responsible for overall performance management, call coaching and compliance. Provided trend analysis and reporting for senior leadership. The department averages an average annual retention of $17 million.• Manage Jackson’s Sales Assistant Unit consisting of 20 employees covering 219 External Wholesalers. Identified new opportunities to increase usage of Sales Assistants through data driven metrics and performance outcomes. Team development led to the promotion of 8 Sales Assistants.• Set strategy to develop the Jackson Private Wealth Concierge Desk to assist Trust Officers with annuity purchases for high net worth clients. Collaborated with Sales, Product Management, Compliance, and New Business to establish a concierge team within Annuity Support, without adding headcount. • Develop and execute Jackson’s Green Team college internship program, beginning with 8 interns in 2010 growing to 34 interns in 2018. The program has enrolled over 150,000 clients in paperless delivery, resulting in a net savings of $6 million over 8 years. The Internship includes product training, presentation skills workshops, resume writing and interviewing classes. This professional development led 34 interns to receive full time employment with Jackson upon graduation.

Accountable for hiring, career development, performance management and principal oversight for 4 registered representatives. Conducted agent surveillance and monitoring to comply with FINRA and AML regulations. Created efficiencies in process methods to increase productivity of the department, and the capacity to increase functions of the support unit.

Served as Team Lead for Annuity Support Unit and Retirement Products Specialist Unit. Assisted with hiring and training of Specialists. Responsible for reporting on the department’s production.

Responsible for business retention of outgoing assets, working with clients and advisors. Analyzed transfer activity for independent advisors to identify areas of concern. Delivered $48 million in total assets retained.

Completed comprehensive planning services covering financial planning, college funding and insurance planning. Offered additional products and services to assist customers with reaching financial goals. Created and implemented customer acquisition strategies.
