My job as a Floor Tech is to serve the people on the floor building the furniture. I'm out on the floor trouble shooting problems that the employee's are having with the components or furniture.l help with the furniture, and or the process to keep the product moving. My job is to help solve contributing factors that cause issues in the manufacturing of the furniture. I work with engineering to correct the issues that are causing a stop in production. I also inspect and sign off on product to be shipped to make sure it meets Nucrafts quality standards and is what the customer needs. I designed and build fixtures for different areas to help in the manufacturing of the furniture. Part of my job is writing work reports and keeping logs of the issues. I have also worked with customer service to address issues in the field and ways to fix them. I have built prototypes for new product. I repair furniture that is on the line and in process, so that it can continue on and not be pulled off the line slowing down production. I travel out to job sites for repairs and installation as well.

Build and modify standard furniture to the customers specifications. Figure my own cut list and make sure that hardware will work with design. look for problems in building design and make suggestions on a better construction. Cut and machine panels and assemble the furniture. Also keep track of supplies and get them reordered so that area does not run out of needed items. Also repair and modify furniture that is already been built and needs to be altered because it does not meet customers standard. Have been on many field repairs. Traveled to jobs by plane and car to fix furniture. On the Safety committee. Inspect areas and equipment to make sure they are up to OSHA Standards. Make suggestions on improving work environment.

I run the Blanchard and Gallmeyers grinding to tolerances of +.000 / -.005 did some mill work and radial drill work worked there from 1983-1988
