Problem solving is a strong skill I have and enjoy the challenge. I currently work at Nucraft furniture with the engineering team as Technical Support out on the floor. Helping production with issues that arise due to a multiple items. I deal with different departments to resolve different problems that keep the product from moving smoothly through the process. The different departments I deal with is Engineering, Scheduling, Purchasing, Maintenance, Programming, BAAN Data Team, Order Entry, and Customer Service. I have to try pin point the problems , and solve the the issues so that the product flows through the plant smoothly and the Customer gets the product they deserve. My job intails being out on the floor dealing with the different areas that call me with any questions they have on our products. I then have to find out what happened that has stopped the order. This means checking bills of materials, getting with Programming, to see it it is correct. Doing simple repairs on the line , or arrange to get the product repainted. I deal with many different personalities and try to give each person the best service I can. I have to build special fixtures for customers out in the fields, offend writing instructions on how to do use the fixtures to get the end result they want. I use Inventor to look at drawing and measure different details of the drawings. I do not use Inventor to make drawings. I use Word at times to make documents. I communicate with different departments by phone, email, and talking to them personally. I have some experience with Excel spreadsheets.
