Everyone has stumbles in life, you just have to make it part of the dance....Growing up, I had no idea what I wanted to do but I knew I wanted to make money. I had no job but I had the gift of gab. That can get you into trouble when you don't know how to use it correctly but fortunately, as you grow older, you learn to control your powers.Moving straight out of High School and into the oilfield is always everybody's dream in Alberta (am I right?) so being a 135 lb 18 year old, seemed like the best fit! I was lucky enough to land a job with BJ Services, somehow being the 1 picked out of the 50 some odd resumes. When I look back its hard not to think...why me?I have met a lot of great people and have grown immensely since that day. Moved around in the oilfield for a couple years before landing myself at ATCO where I am currently. Its been quite a journey to this point and I owe the whole ride to who I am today. I have great friends, coworkers and a very supportive family, all of which have been there for myself, wife and daughter no matter what we face.

  Started out my career with ATCO in Peace River. Worked as a field operator doing pipeline installs, maintenance and emergency work. Transferred to Sherwood Park in 2011 and almost immediately started a new role in pressure control. Currently I am a Senior Operator with Pressure Control out of Edmonton. Our group is responsible primarily for the regulation and pressure side of the distribution system. We also take care of temporary supplies, odorant, sampling, new capital construction and internal/external support
