Construction Supervisor for City Rail Link (Connectus Joint Venture).Duties include leading teams completing street scape on Lower Albert Street- Custom St to Wyndham St (paving, street furniture, tree planting, light poles). Leading civil works (utilities, backfill, asphalting, strut and concrete deck removal, capping beam demolition). Leading traffic management teams, planning/ coordination/ installation of TMPs, meetings and consultation with Auckland Transport, STMS duties.Logistic and transport coordination. Coordination of self-performing teams including carpenters, labourers & drivers.Financial reporting, purchase orders, invoice approval, variation day sheets and cost trackers.Connectus JV is a company set up between McConnell Dowell and Downer NZ to deliver 350m of cut and cover tunnels under and along Albert St for CRL. Challenges include; ensuring public and pedestrian safety, deep excavation (18m) in the middle of Auckland's CBD, relocate or protect approximately 250 services, extensive stakeholder management, maintaining traffic flow in some of NZ's busiest thoroughfares.
