Starting my career as an apprentice Tool, Jig and Diemaker with Mercedes-Benz in South Africa I qualified as an engineer. I then secured a roll in the Metrology Laboratory, using Technical and Blue print drawings to measure individual components, sub-assemblies, complete vehicle bodies and assembly jigs I gained knowledge on how vehicles are manufactured from start to finish using processes and procedures.
