• Taught through COVID-19 using multiple technology sources and live Zoom teaching daily. Continued teaching 3 different levels for 150+ students during this time and was able to still accomplish all goals, standards, and relationships with my students and team. • Achieved highest marks in the 7th grade at my building on the NWEA test for showing growth. I use and analyze the date from the testing to set up differentiated instruction, interventions, and change behavior for the greatest potential to create success and growth for my students. The overall goals for the years in the respective categories of growth were 50%/100% and my overalls for all classes were 58.62%/110.82%. This is including the scores of all students, with no exceptions.• Team Leader for 2 years which included duties of being the point person for contact with parents, special education, and administration. Contacted parents for many different reasons and have had to have difficult conversations. This was the lead for the 5 core subject teachers and included an average of 155 students each year. • Was a member of the Technology Committee that helps to find beneficial ways to properly integrate more technology into the classrooms that enhances learning and understanding of challenging topics.• Social Emotional Learning Committee that focuses on ways to meet students where they are and to understand the underlying way the brain works to build strong connections and relationships with all students from all backgrounds and cultures. This committee also has a major focus on the mental state of the staff and finding ways to make sure that the staff is taking care of themselves and keeping a positive mindset in the building.

• Eli Lilly Endowment Winner: Teacher Creativity Grant winner 2012$8000 Awarded to only 100 teachers across the state of Indiana as an enriching and renewing experience. Had to write the proposal, full detailed planned budget, and references.• Represented as a Coach at the 2008 Olympic Swimming Trials for a swimmer in the 100 butterfly. Had the privilege of being on deck and behind the scenes with the greatest swimmers and coaches in the USA, including Michael Phelps.• 2015 High School Graduation Commencement Speaker: Voted on by the senior class• Technology Committee for the high school and the corporation. Helped to write grants and build a plan to start the corporation on a 1 to 1 initiative. This plan ensured that all students in the secondary level would have their own technological device to take to and from school for educational use. We rolled the plan out in phases and had full 1 to 1 implementation in all secondary grades within two years. We were able to have a financial plan that added a small “Tech fee” at the start of the year and we were able to reduce their book fee because of using the online textbooks and tools. There was also a buyback program that we were able to set up with Apple to get an amount back for the devices every 4 years, which helped future costs. So, all incoming Freshman would get a new device that would be theirs for the next four years.• School Improvement Committee that worked to find ways to improve the school culture and we worked together to change our vision statement for our corporation.• Middle/High School Head Swim Coach from 2007-2013: Throughout this time, we broke 19 school records and I was voted the girls coach of the year at the Carmel High School swim sectional.
