Develop and execute a global EH&S strategy across the corporation's aerospace, energy and metal coating businesses. Utilize continuous improvement techniques to standardize and improve existing EH&S programs. Develop the global EH&S organization and lead efforts to integrate EH&S into all elements of the business to achieve best in class EH&S performance.

Provide strategic direction, leadership and detailed technical support to advance EH&S programs at 40 manufacturing sites throughout the Western Region of North America. Work with sites to develop, implement and improve an EH&S Management System meeting UTC requirements. Hire and develop site EH&S Managers to provide support at the sites and implement regional approach to improve performance in all aspects of EH&S. Develop overall UTC Aerospace Systems (UTAS) EH&S strategy by participation on the UTAS EHS Council. Lead Corporate EH&S Functional Strategic Plan and Annual Plan Development efforts.

Provided strategic direction, leadership and detailed technical support to advance EH&S programs at 16 international sites throughout the Asia-Pacific Region. Worked with sites to develop, implement and improve an EH&S Management System meeting UTC requirements and international standards. Oversaw integration of former Goodrich sites into UTC by ensuring timely implementation of EH&S Integration Plan. Developed overall UTC Aerospace Systems (UTAS) EH&S strategy by participation on the UTAS EHS Council.

Provided EH&S direction and support to 15 sites in the U.S., Europe and Asia that were part of the Interiors Strategic Business Unit. Served as Chairman on the Goodrich EH&S Steering Committee, which developed and implemented the global EH&S strategy for the corporation. Responsible for conducting due diligence on potential acquisitions and implementing integration plans at new sites. Utilized Continuous Improvement methodologies to better integrate EH&S into operations. Implemented risk management and ergonomics improvement processes resulting in a decrease in recordable rate by over 40% and lost workday case rate by over 60% in a two year period.

Implemented hazardous waste regulatory program to meet Federal EPA requirements to retain Arizona's authority to administer the program. Managed permitting, inspection and compliance, pollution prevention and environmental reporting programs. Provided guidance to businesses in Arizona in how to achieve compliance with hazardous waste regulations and minimize potential releases to the environment.
