Responsibilities include development of long- and short-term purchasing strategies, contract negotiations, supplier sourcing, supply risk management, cost and process improvement, Tier I and Tier II Supplier Diversity management.Establish and manage business relationships between Toyota Tier I Suppliers, Toyota headquarters (TEMA), Toyota Technical Center (TTC) and eight North American Toyota vehicle and engine assembly plants (NAMCs). Manage sourcing and supply base optimization activities following Toyota business practices to ensure successfully meeting both production preparation milestones and high quality standards.Develop supplier selection proposals and negotiate terms of purchase for automotive materials valued at approximately $220 million annually.

Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MRO) Sourcing Manager- Job duties include development, communication and execution of negotiation strategies, gathering and benchmarking market intelligence and leading cross-functional negotiation teams.- Manage Select Supplier relationships and monitor performance. Track and manage compliance and focus on cost savings.- A resource to the engineering, operation and maintenance teams to assist in procurement of materials for capital projects- Supervision of seven MRO buyers purchasing for ten production facilities.- Manage category purchases of $45 million in MRO and $45 million in Capital per year.

Managed strategic industrial accounts such as Campbell Soup, Heinz, Kroger Foods, Nestle, P&G, Sara Lee and Tyson Foods selling food and industrial salt products to corporate level buyers and corporate level R&D / Product Development technologists. - Managed strategic retail accounts such as Do It Best and Carter Lumber. - Territory sales $11million per year

Managed territory accounts including commercial & industrial end users, retail sales, and wholesale distribution selling salt products for the food, water conditioning, agricultural, industrial, and deicing segments. - Territory sales $2.6 million then $6 million per year
