I have been very interested in designing and building mechanical devices and systems since I was very young. My father is a computer engineer and so naturally I had a wide exposure to the computer and software side of systems as well. I was a member of my high school Skills Ontario Robotics Team for all five years of my high school career, competing at competition three of the five years, and achieving a Bronze Medal standing in my second year at competition. I also have experience in plumbing, electrical, construction, carpentry, landscaping, precision machining, welding and fabrication and high proficiency in automotive service and repair.I enjoy many hobbies including playing soccer, going snowboarding, playing music both on guitar and brass instruments, motocross, computer programming, car racing and wood working. I have a very wide range of experience and interests, but most, if not all, spring from a desire to design and create. I knew a long time ago that I wanted to be an engineer, and the program Conestoga College offers made it a clear and easy decision.
