I have been working on the NOTM program since it was fielded at MCTSSA, Camp Pendleton, Ca. in 2012. In charge of organization and tasking of each of the NOTM team members, NOTM training, tracking of all MI's, firmware and software updates, service requests, and the reporting of significant events and accomplishments performed. I also coordinate with local Marine Units, MCTSSA, and SPAWAR and I retain all of the responsibilities of my previous SAIC position below.

Serve as an instructor and primary engineering support for the Networking-On-The-Move (NOTM) Project, a new mobile communication platform for the United States Marine Corps. Daily responsibilities include instructing select Marine Corps personnel on installing, configuring, and maintaining vehicle mounted GOTS/COTS communication equipment to include, but limited to, SATCOM, routers, switches, wireless access points, RF radios, mobile computers, and Class I encryption devices.Act as subject matter expert (SME) and primary support for fielded Marine units and their NOTM vehicles. Additionally served as advisor to government and military personnel on use and capabilities of platform in the modern combat environment. Support Navy NMCI network Cisco, Brocade, Riverbed and Juniper devices.

Operate and maintain network devices and install hardware equipment into computer racks and bringing systems on-line. Responsible for providing incident response, troubleshooting and resolutions per policies and procedures. Monitor the NMCI network for the overall network health and performance of each device.As shift lead, provided guidance to all shift members, the daily operations, maintenances, and all troubleshooting efforts. Assign work to other engineers, convene conference calls and prepare reports.Proactively implement technical solutions to mitigate outages and/or performance issues. Participate in various working groups and boards related to process improvement and change authorization.Perform maintenances on network infrastructure equipment to include upgrades and patches. Perform ACL modification on public transport boundary routers. Create, open, resolve and manage trouble and maintenance tickets with Remedy and SM7.Collaborate with software engineers, network operations, security operations and system administrators to ensure quality and integrity of IT systems.

1St Marine Division Communications Company

 Engineered switching and routing architecture to support numerous Secure (SIPR) and Non Secure Networks (NIPR) and validated the accreditations with the Marine Corps Information and Network Operations Center (MCITNOC) to support DNS, Firewalls and ensured network advertisement of five class C Networks.  Represented the 1st Marine Division for all Tactical Data Network (TDN) planning conferences. Senior Communications Manager for 1st Marine Division assets consisting of Data, HF, VHF, UHF, SATCOM and Wire communications systems. Planned, coordinated and supervised all data, radio and wired communications support for the 1st Marine Division Staff and the Commanding General during this time frame. Analyzed, reviewed and rewrote the Marine Corps Individual Training Standards for the Data, Radio, and Operational Communications Military Occupational Specialties (MOS).  Managed the assignments of more than 330 personnel and more than $35 million in communication assets within Communications Company to meet the operational needs of the 1st Marine Division. Coordinated and scheduled all Communications Occupational Specialty classes, identified training deficiencies and outsourced commercial classes to satisfy the dynamic operational requirements, shortfalls and progression for forty-nine different communication job specialties. Counseled all personnel to both facilitate mission accomplishment and personal career development of the individual. Evaluated each person regarding where they stood professionally and advised the individual on the best means and path to be taken.

9Th Communications Bn, Camp Pendleton, Ca

 Managed the configuration of numerous servers, laptops and over 100 routers throughout the theater area of operations and more than 100 switches in Camp Fallujah, Iraq. This facilitated the architecture changes necessary to meet the Marine Forces dynamic operational and communication requirements for more than 4,000 users.  Leader of the (IA) Information Assurance section during this time period. Ensured the technical training and proficiency of all IA personnel and the employment of Firewalls.  Managed the I-MEF help desk while deployed in Iraq and facilitated service support requirements and customer problem resolution for all network services. Established Server 2003 Active Directory Domain for Marine Forces and migrated all data and user accounts from existing NT Domain Servers via an established trust. Coordinated and managed Tactical Digital Messaging Systems (TDMS), Server 2003, Switching and Routing and Firewall classes. Supervised the personnel, equipment and assignments of more than 1,500 Marines within 9th Communications Battalion. Senior Enlisted Technical Advisor for all issues related to the planning and design of the tactical networks in support of exercises, operations and contingencies both in garrison and in support of the Iraqi Interim Government. Developed unit level data classrooms, computer labs and a local five-week Tactical Data Network Course (TDN). Assigned, supervised and provided guidance to the instructors of the TDN course.
