I relish a challenge!I have a diverse professional and academic background that has allowed me to develop the ability to view problems from multiple angles and operate in fast-paced environments while maintaining focus on long-term goals. Perhaps more importantly, I enjoy being a member of a good team just as much as leading the team and mentoring team members.I have a DoD security clearance and a significant amount of strategic experience in a variety of operational and policy areas including international affairs, trade, national security, law, homeland security, civil affairs, intelligence, environmental regulation, health, education, political/military affairs, refugees, and demining. This diverse background gives me the ability work, lead and communicate in environments ranging from the austere to the appellate court, either alone or in a team.
