About Greg Reinhart

Hello and welcome to my LinkedIn page. My name is Greg Reinhart, and I currently live in the Boone, North Carolina, area. I am currently employed in the horse racing industry, but I am seeking full-time employment opportunities both inside and outside that industry.I have spent the last ten years writing and editing material for various employers. First, I helped edit the Graduate School Catalog of Classes for the Fall 2003 semester while serving as a workstudy at California University of Pennsylvania. Then I spent the next few years writing and editing all the material and web pages for LucOuellette.com, a website I ran for Luc Ouellette, a friend of mine who drives Standardbred race horses. In addition to writing and editing, I also maintained the main web page and other section web pages, along with designing those pages.I then moved on to The Harness Edge, a harness racing magazine based in Brantford, Ontario, where I wrote about Standardbred horse racing both online at theharnessedge.com and in our digital magazine. In addition to my writing duties there, I also edited press releases, pictures, and videos for posting on our website via our content management system. I have also done freelance work for groups like the Hambletonian Society, who oversee Standardbred horse racing events such as the prestigious Hambletonian and Breeders Crown. In addition to my writing experience, I am also extremely comfortable with social media sites. I have been a member of Facebook since 2005 and Twitter since 2011, and I am currently serving as the Social Media Director for the Horseplayers Association of North America. It is my belief that all media sources and organizations must have an extensive social media presence as in many instances it is the quickest way for news and information to reach followers, and it can draw viewers to your site that you would have otherwise not been able to reach.

Listed skills include Editing, Blogging, Proofreading, Feature Articles, and 20 others.
