The great journalism that earned The Christian Science Monitor seven Pulitzers and numerous overseas press awards can get lost in the noise of a crowded media landscape. Extending the distinction of Monitor journalism to external organizations such as Apple News, Flipboard, and National Geographic is one of my major functions at the Monitor. Having come from a radio background, I'm also committed to ensuring the Monitor's audio production is heard by listeners on the web and via podcast platforms. I produce many online and live events for the Monitor and supervise a content sales effort that brings in 650K each year in sales to publishers such as The New York Times, AP, Bloomquist, and others. By creating engaging newsletters, audio-video, and social media content on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, I've also brought hundreds of thousands of new readers both online and in print to this 114-year-old news organization.

My marketing and media agency assured that news programming from one of the world's most respected international broadcasters - Deutsche Welle - was seen by PBS viewers and heard by NPR listeners in the US. In just a few short years my agency boosted DW's PBS carriage from a few dozen stations to more than 300. Through my marketing, public relations and social media efforts, every major market in the US now broadcasts news programming from DW.

I was the local host for WGBH Radio's Morning Edition and All Things Considered broadcasts, responsible for story selection, editing and hosting four-hour blocks of news programming.

I produced dozens of NPR's cultural features and music documentaries which required research, interviews, writing, and audio mixing of complex one-hour radio documentaries. After several projects, I was also given the task of Senior Editor, editing many of the scripts of other freelance producers around the U.S.

I developed and launched news magazines for public radio and produced a nightly news program for Monitor's national cable channel. I managed a staff of 18 TV reporters and producers and oversaw a $2-million acquisition and staffing budget. I piloted and produced a morning news magazine for NPR stations and launched the program in more than 100 US markets including New York, Boston, Chicago, and Philadephia.

I was part of the management team that launched New Hampshire's first public radio station and was responsible for hiring staff, creating a news policy, and editing news content.
