Working as part of the Itron Solution and Delivery team involves design, deployment and subsequent support of complex metering solutions for major utilities worldwide. The role takes on the full end to end process starting with the initial customer requirements gathering sessions, then taking these requirements and designing and implementing the solution whist also providing supporting documentation and system testing based on the Use Cases agreed with the customer.Throughout the course of the project the role also involves developing and delivering training sessions to customer staff in order to ready them for delivery of the system.In order to design an effective solution for the customer the role requires an in depth knowledge of the capabilities of the software being deployed and of the market where the deployment is to take place as standards and processes differ from country to county
