Implemented customer insights program across the product group. Over 20 program managers conducted 250 interviews across 94 customers. Insights gathered informed a major product pivot, validated/invalidated several hypotheses, and guided feature design/priority. Took Azure DevOps Analytics offering from limited-preview to general availability, growing monthly usage 50X. Using hypothesis driven customer research, built strategy for Analytics. Built business model for Analytics using customer data to predict cost/revenue. Built COGS tracking tooling to enable ROI decisions at a feature level. From ground up, built roadmap and drove development of the Azure Boards product - Kanban, backlog management, sprint planning, delivery plans. Using research driven by customers, compete, and industry experts, built a comprehensive product that is now critical to our customer's business. Azure Boards is #1 used service in Azure DevOps, which has ~4M customers. Evangelized and drove adoption of Azure Boards with our customers, and internally at Microsoft. Engaged countless customers to demonstrate how our product enables their success. Internally, led the team that transitioned the Microsoft Windows org (15,000 users) from internal tools, to our cloud-based offering. Currently, Azure Boards is the Microsoft standard.Drove integration with key partners within Microsoft, including SharePoint, Teams, and Project. Deprecated highly visible features that no longer aligned with our vision, saving millions in support costs. Worked transparently and emphatically with customers throughout the process.

Drove key enhancements to TFS Work Item Tracking feature, such as work item hierarchy, advanced linking, performance improvements, and key integrations to other Microsoft products.

Provide technical support for email, cloud storage, Google SEO, video production, and virtual events.In 2020, led the technical effort to pivot a critical annual fundraising event from in-person to virtual. Working with 13+ volunteers, we went from nothing to full production in 4 months. Event attendance up and raising $150k, 9% higher than previous years.In 2021, led the technical offer to produce the 2021 annual fundraising virtual event. Entire event was edited, pre-recorded, and then streamed online, greatly reducing the cost of creating and running the virtual event. Funds raised: $140k.Transitioned paid email/storage tooling to free Microsoft Office for Non-Profits, saving organization money. Provide continued ongoing support.
