Responsible for engineering design improvements on the worlds best selling, four seat, personal piston aircraft
Responsible for leading multi-functional teams in the design of the doors and pressurized windows of the production jet aircraft. Each design had several unique features such as a cabin windshield with a special, thinner center pillar which maximizes pilot view, or a structural door which cut twenty pounds from the weight of the surrounding airframe structure. Developed a system to install and quickly change out stabilizing flight surfaces on prototype jet aircraft.
Designed and helped fabricate spin/stall parachute recovery system attach structure for flying prototype jet aircraft. Design weighed considerably less than other proposed configurations. Redesigned and carried through to installation rudder pedals, as well as several other components of the flight control systems for prototype jet.
