Greg is an independent consultant with more than 30 years’ experience in program and cultural development and venue management in the arts and community sector, having successfully delivered a wide range of projects for local, state and federally funded clients and government entities. He works across the profession, from local councils and small cultural not-for-profits to large arts organisations. Greg works nationally, with a focus on Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia, and the performing arts. Currently Greg is consulting to Performing Arts Connections Australia, Regional Arts Victoria, Swan Hill Rural City Council, and Yea Arts Inc. Recently he has managed recruitment and provided strategic and operational review and staff professional development for Southern Grampians Shire Council, Hamilton Performing Arts Centre and Swan Hill Town Hall Performing Arts and Conference Centre, developed program policy for Capital Venues and Events, Bendigo and policy and procedure review for Geelong Performing Arts Centre.As volunteer and community advocate Greg has provided ongoing strategic and operational support as part of Residents for Victoria Street Drug Solutions. RVSDS is a resident group that, through a dedicated campaign, saw the State Government reverse its stated position and establish a Medically Supervised Injecting Room trial operations in Richmond on 30 June 2018. In 2021, with RVSDS Secretary Judy Ryan, Greg secured funding for the first stage of Victoria Street Alive! a community and cultural led revitalisation for Victoria Street Abbotsford.
