- Providing technical assistance to agricultural producers and other landowners to protect natural resources (soil water, air, plants, animals)- Work closely with the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) to assist in the planning and implementation of federal conservation programs such as the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) and the Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP) in Eagle, Pitkin, and Garfield Counties. - Managing the daily operations of the Colorado Soil Health Program (STAR+) and Noxious Weed Program within Eagle County.

- Developed a sampling design to study the abundance and diversity of arthropods within black-tailed prairie dog colonies- Installed and maintained 720 arthropod pitfall traps across 24 study plots and recorded, managed, and analyzed arthropod data Conducted surveys of designated study plots to assess prairie dog activity- Assisted in the trapping and handling of black-tailed prairie dogs and other small mammals- Assisted in small mammal processing, which included isoflurane administration, blood draw, subcutaneous fluid administration, flea combing and collection, fur sampling, and ear/PIT tag application - Implemented tools and strategies used for sylvatic plague management including deltamethrin and fipronil administration

- Drafted an ecosystem management plan and project budget to restore degraded agricultural land in Boulder County, CO. The primary objective was to build a sustainable habitat for the black-tailed prairie dog colony that occupied the site. The management plan included vegetation surveying, restoration and management, prairie dog management and subsequent monitoring.- Collaborated with environmental consultants and ranchers to execute various management actions.

- Performed inventory and analyses of relocation sites and created digital maps to supplement data- Built and installed artificial burrows to aid in successful translocation- Humanely captured and relocated over 500 black-tailed prairie dogs to conservation area, ensuring coteries remained intact- Monitored newly relocated colonies

- Coordinated and implemented educational courses to enable greater access to the outdoors- Planned outreach events requiring time management and budgetary constraints- Developed, managed and taught employee training programs as well as community classes- Performed maintenance on customer bicycles- 2016 Anderson Award Winner
