Then make a plan together with the business to find success.10 of my years were spent as IT Director of a corporate real estate company. I spearheaded GRC and compliance efforts while ensuring the success of a fast paced business with significant automation and custom development. The company primarily worked with large companies and banks and thus, I became well acquainted with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), ISO27001, and SOC2. I also led efforts to respond to numerous government RFP’s; helping to secure much of the company’s business. On a more technical note, I also managed the enterprise technology in the data center, vendors, and cyber incidents.On-the-job training is one thing, but I decided to formalize this knowledge. I studied under cyber security experts from NavAir (Civilian Navy) and the first PhD of Digital Forensics, among other titans in my formal education. I achieved a BS in Computer Information Systems with a focus on Cyber Security and Digital Forensics from Cal Poly Pomona College of Business Administration with a 3.99 GPA and a slew of awards.For the last 5 years, I’ve pivoted to digital forensics, cyber strategy and risk management. This combines my experiences in business, technology, and leadership. As I’ve focused on the cyber industry I’ve recognized patterns in the market, patterns in attacks, and patterns in defense. I’ve learned a way to navigate companies to success. I have successfully helped numerous companies and organizations manage their risk and stay in budget by following clear processes and acting on well defined strategy.My focus is SME business and supporting legal workflow. I want to help small law firms build better cases. Proper collection, electronic discovery, and forensics is in budget and within reach. I want to help small and medium business protect their business and their customers. Strategic risk management is key to making impact. I care about American small business and SME.
