I am a Hydrogeologist and contaminated land specialist with more than 20 years’ experience. I specialise in developing robust conceptual site models within a broad range of site and environmental settings. I have and currently work closely with:• Government Departments from Local, State, Federal and Defence sectors in relation to a variety of contaminated land challenges; • Local government and private industry clients in all aspects of landfill compliance with particular expertise in groundwater, surface water and landfill gas compliance and risk;• Water Authorities in support of licence compliance assessment for multiple licence conditions relating to groundwater, surface water and land;• Land owners (government and private) that have received regulatory notices and assisting such clients navigate and comply with notice conditions;• Large industrial clients such as oil and gas and large land portfolio owners and managers.I have worked on a wide variety of sites including former and operational industrial sites, former and operational landfills, government owned research facilities, former and operational Defence sites, munitions facilities, waste water treatment plants, former gasworks, mines and large linear infrastructure projects. I have implemented large scale remediation projects including hydraulic containment, in situ chemical reduction with enhanced biodegradation (including the first use of emulsified vegetable oil in Victoria), capping / phytocapping and excavation / validation.I have a strong working knowledge multiple regions in eastern and south eastern Australia including extensive experience in the Port Phillip and Murray Basins.
