Founded by legendary aerospace designer Burt Rutan, Scaled Composites focuses on pursuing cost-effective development projects delivered on a short schedule. Much of this work results in a new aircraft concept, allowing us to fly an average of one new aircraft type per year.

Founded Gauntlet in 2006 as a flight school offering aerobatic and tailwheel training outside of Chicago, IL. Executed successful growth from one aircraft to operating seven aircraft and managing a staff of ten flight instructors. Planned and executed early partnership with Groupon to market aircraft rides, resulting in one of their most successful.

Established aerobatic training program including authoring syllabi, and managing training and standardization of new instructors.

Taught basic, advanced, and competition aerobatics in the Decathlon, Extra 300, and Pitts S-2B. Competed up to the advanced level in IAC aerobatic competition.
