Responsible for maintaining numerous Third-Party web applications as well maintaining the company's web infrastructure.

Responsibilities include deploying and maintaining Windows 2000/2003 servers for academic and administrative systems as well as acting as a platform liaison for other server administrators across campus. Also involved in and managed many other enterprise projects and services.Accomplishments:• Deployed servers used for student billing to meet the PCI (Payment Card Industry) security compliance.• Worked on analyzing our storage needs as an organization and projecting future needs for purchasing decisions. Also researched current SAN technologies and made recommendations on what we could be leveraging to save time and money. • Deployed and maintain VMware ESX Server farm to test and research the feasibility of running production systems as virtual machines.• Deployed Microsoft WSUS server for use in patching campus workstations and servers.• Participated in the design and deployment of Microsoft Exchange 2003• Worked as part of a team to establish synchronization between our two LDAP directories. Also established and enforced new password policies for all users on campus.• Deployed, maintain and administrated a shared MS-SQL 2000/2005 servers for use with third-party applications as well internally developed projects. • Tasked with stabilizing our Windows/Apache web environment by transitioning it to Windows/IIS.• Served as a technical advisor on a request for proposal for our web content management system. • Redesigned our Microsoft Distributed File System from a server base DFS to a Domain based DFS. Also developed a web based application to mange these links more efficiently in our environment.

Job responsibilities include overseeing over 1,000 desktops across campus in 10 computer labs. I was responsible for advising, installing and maintaining all hardware and software used in these academic computer labs. Also maintained a small server infrastructure used for maintaining the computer labs as well as academic learning. Accomplishments:• Developed and patented Print Management software for the University to help analyze our computer lab printing habits. This software provided the basic functionality of many commercial products on the market without a huge investment or commitment to the University.• Setup and deployed a two Microsoft Active Directory sub-domains to provide consolidated authorization and authentication for users across campus. These domains where also used to manage the lab workstation more efficiently via Group Polices. • Administrated Microsoft IIS and Apache web servers for the Management of Computer Systems department website, and well as for academic development. • Deployed a $150,000 specialized Foreign Language lab and trained faculty on how to use the technology.• Developed a program that would analyze the results of a Scantron test. Project consisted of converting and old FORTRAN program to a Visual Basic and adding new features such as Excel spreadsheet output.

My job duties were to analyze, maintain and develop code for the Proteus product line. Also responsible for developing and maintaining add-on interfaces for the Proteus product line. Accomplishments:- Developed first version of Proteus Alarm Interface. This interface would allow building control systems based of the Niagara Framework to automatically communicate via xml and create work orders in the maintenance management system.
