Greg has more than 30 years of development experience responsible for directing over 40 major projects totaling more than 50M square feet. Based in Los Angeles with Poag Development Group, Greg is responsible for identifying and executing large scale retail and mixed-use development opportunities from conception to successful completion. With a 30+ year history of developing lifestyle retail, Poag Development Group continues to evolve the category as a leading mixed-use developer focused on experiential retail as the basis for value creation.Greg is currently involved in the ground up development of Avenue One, a 1,500,000 SF mixed-use lifestyle project in Omaha, Nebraska in partnership with landowner, Jasper Stone. In addition, he is responsible for third party development of projects including The Rise, a 6,500,000 SF mixed-use development in Cupertino, California and The District, a 650,000 SF mixed-use public/private venture in Lynnwood, Washington.Prior to joining Poag Development Group, Greg was a Senior Vice President - Retail Development at JLL responsible for third party development of projects including work with the Chicago Bears on the master planning of a new stadium and surrounding mixed-use development on 326 acres in Arlington Heights, Illinois and Midway Crossing, a 3,100,000 SF mixed use development on Long Island, New York. Greg was Director of Development at Wilson Meany involved in the master planning, entitlement and development of SoFi Stadium and the Los Angeles Sports and Entertainment District at Hollywood Park. The development features a 68,000 seat NFL-specification stadium for the Los Angeles Rams / Los Angeles Chargers surrounded by 8,600,000 SF of mixed-use development.Greg also served a 24-year tenure as Senior Vice President at CBRE, Inc., with projects that included work on large scale, master planned developments with MGM Studios in China and Paramount Studios in Japan and Spain.Greg earned a Bachelor of Science in business/real estate from the WP Carey School of Business at Arizona State University and is affiliated with the Los Angeles Leadership Council run by university trustees. He is an active member of ICSC and the Urban Land Institute and is a licensed broker in the state of California.
