I'm Gregor (he/him), a graduate engineer with Max Fordham and a Mechanical Engineering MEng graduate.Before Graduation,- While I have been at university, I have been studying hard to increase my knowledge and skills that will build towards a successful career in engineering.- I have always found interest in renewables and heat pumps and was able to further my understanding of the subject during my master’s project. I researched the ability of a wind turbine to mechanically run a heat pump in order to heat a home in rural Skye.- I did a project on implementing renewable energy on the Isle of Arran. My group chose to use a hydroelectric scheme near the Glenloig forest.- I was involved in the Glasgow University Football Club's inaugural season in the West of Scotland Football League, which is apart of the Scottish football pyramid scheme. I also enjoy staying active outside of football by running, weight lifting and playing beach volleyball during the summers.My aspirations:- I want to be apart of the global movement to stop global warming. Creating a more sustainable way of doing the things people take as standard, I want to build a career that will help leave the planet a better place.- I want to push myself in the professional world and create connections that will last a lifetime to ensure I become the most successful version of myself as possible.
