I offer fifteen years of construction, manufacturing and mechanic experience in various fields which have all contributed to the cultivation of skills that I utilize on a regular basis which make me a prime candidate for the positions advertised. Six years of experience as an independent or lead carpenter which includes but is not limited to reading of blueprints, lay out of work to be performed, delegating responsibilities and monitoring production followed by final inspection, monitoring the distribution along with maintenance and care of equipment, while also performing individual tasks when possible with or without the assistance of a helper/laborer. I encourage the motto to work safe first and foremost then smart and lastly hard. Safety is essential for success and priority number one on any and all job sites. Examples of methods and principles used would start with the planning ahead on all levels of the process with the goal to minimize waste while maximizing efficiency, followed by using an automated production style approach when feasible and practical, being mindful of workers strengths and weaknesses, and communicating clearly and respectfully when speaking and listening with attention to detail (which is one of my main strengths). I maintain very high standards while also understanding that lines need to be drawn at times (especially with additions and re-models) and act as if it were my own home.
