* Primary responsibility is to Interface with PMO, Program Operations Management and Operations on the MP RTIP and Global Hawk Block 40 program to assure the MRP schedule accuracy and status to baseline objectives. Other job function includes execution of all activities involving design, acquisition, assembly, test, requiring collaboration with other functions. ; * Responsible for providing leadership and over site direction to a staff of approximately 13 personnel in cross functional disciplines with a 12 million dollar annual operating budget to deliver multi LRU units. Responsibilities also include operations leadership throughout the IPDS program life cycle, developing schedule plans, resource loading, and management of business performance metrics. This position also requires active leadership in the creation of capital plans, along with implementing and maintaining production processes. I also support the finance organization through the use of Earned Value Management, leading the completion of EACs and variance analysis.Accomplishments• Led teams which developed and implemented process to improvements to Assembly Instructions that reduced rework by 30%,• Developed cost avoidance model to forecast savings to SAS and programs due to reductions in planning defects. Based on departments actual reduction of 98% in Defects per Opportunity (DPO) over 12 month period, first year cost avoidance of $16 million (150,000 hours) was forecasted if existing improvement processes were implemented across all SAS sites.• Led cross-functional team on the MP RTIP program on a test and STE blitz that created touch labor efficiencies• which produced $500K in give backs to the program• Maintain excellent CPI EV metrics that led to over 2 million dollars in give backs to the MP RTIP program.• Took a 40% ($2.06M) challenge on the Global Hawk program to the support functions and still gave back $100K to the program in 2014.
