Original founding partner of performance improvement consulting firm specializing in reducing expenses related to the waste stream including recyclable waste. Directed all aspects of the firm’s business including sales, marketing, business development, operations, and client relationship management. Provided strategic vision for company that included expansion into multiple industries.Selected Accomplishments: Led grass-roots effort to establish the firm including strategic business plan, company brand and mission, and financial viability. Established an attractive “no risk” business model to allow clients to utilize services while remaining budget-positive. Led engagements to save clients an average of 25%-35% on their solid waste, recycling, shredding, and other waste stream expenses. Created environmental impact through programs such as the implementation of a recycling for large teaching hospital in New York to comply with county regulations. Expanded client base beyond healthcare industry to food service and hospitality industries.

Participated in exclusive executive leadership meetings to develop and deliver overall vision of healthcare practice. Led strategic business development efforts for large Southwest territory. Selected Accomplishments: Effectively transitioned Invalesco personnel to Navigant, including integration of employees into firm and strategic alignment of resources to ensure successful client outcomes. Managed all Invalesco client relationships to smoothly transition existing clients to new firm. Coordinated selling functions including Return on Investment calculations and contributions from subject matter experts to establish compelling business cases. Identified cross-selling opportunities for colleagues within and outside of Healthcare practice.

Acquired by Navigant Consulting, Inc. in September 2004Original founding partner of hospital performance improvement consulting firm. Established, grew, and sold the multi-million dollar consulting company in less than four years. Developed business plan and directed overall strategic vision for Invalesco including business development efforts, operations, project delivery, recruitment, industry partnerships and on-going client relationship management. Selected Accomplishments: Led company from start-up to over $10 million in revenue in less than 3 years. Recruited, trained and mentored staff ranging from entry-level consultants to Project Directors. Spearheaded efforts to become of one the first consulting firms to develop service offering for patient throughput and capacity management.  Successfully sold multi-million dollar engagements and managed executive level relationships at prestigious health care institutions and health systems.

Subsidiary of Cardinal Health with annual revenue of $50 Million.Recruited as Analyst and subsequently promoted through Project Management and Consultant positions. Assumed operations leadership as a Partner in 1996. Supervised over 100 Analysts, Senior Consultants, Project Managers and Directors in analysis and implementation of management systems designed to improve performance, quality and service for the healthcare industry. Provided oversight to 20-30 ongoing projects billing from $500,000 to $7 Million per project. Selected Accomplishments: Reduced operational costs of assisted healthcare and financial organizations by $500 Million+ while improving quality of service and performance. Achieved a minimum 5 to 1 Return on Investment for all clients.  Key partner in sales of project work with revenues in excess of $75 million.
