AUDIT ASSOCIATE, OCTOBER 2010 – AUGUST 2017Maintained the highest level of accuracy while coordinating reconciliation operations for all investment portfolios between the internal accounting system and custodian banks. Key Accomplishments:• Developed spreadsheets to assist with the pricing of various financial instruments, which could be uploaded into the accounting system to maintain accurate valuation. • Played a key role as a member of the implementation team during the roll-out of a new, professional accounting system which directly resulted in higher efficiency and accuracy. • Recognized an opportunistic moment in time which created approximately $470,000 in value for a client.SETTLEMENTS ASSOCIATE, JUNE 2008 – OCTOBER 2010Handled all aspects of trading, post-execution, from confirmation of details with brokers and dealers to the settlement with various custodian banks. Key Accomplishments:• Developed an instrumental report, which was a key aspect in reducing possible settlement issues.• Identified a critical error in a budgeting report that was overstating soft dollar commissions by twice the actual amount.
