I am committed to becoming the best version of myself, and believe that my career should not simply afford a lifestyle, but drive it. Since adolescence, I have always been ambitious. I began volunteer firefighting at age 19 where I discovered that I had a gift for performing under adverse circumstances. Between confined space training, high angle rope rescue, and wildland firefighting, I discovered that where most people see danger to avoid, I view a problem waiting to be explored and solved. Seeking to experience more of the world, I joined the Army as a medic in 2017. I knew I wanted to gain as much knowledge and experience as possible to be an asset to help people experiencing trauma. Immediately after Advanced Individual Training, I volunteered to extend my active duty service obligation by attending a special operations selection. Upon completion, I was afforded the opportunity to attend an additional special operations medical course which qualified me to perform advanced medical care including trauma surgical skills in an austere environment. I then realized my dream of living somewhere exotic, taking my skills to the Arctic when I received orders to be stationed in Alaska. After serving in the last frontier including arctic warfighter training and airborne medical coverage in -30 degrees, I am ready to take on my next adventure. I take my commitment to any organization earnestly. I believe that in giving my all to my career, there is mutual benefit in achieving the organization's goals, and my own. I believe that my drive for success is my greatest asset, and am confident that I will be a lucrative addition to any team.
