I am responsible for technical support to the dealer network from the factory.

Responsible for training dealership technicians on new product and current automotive technology. Also responsible for training dealership after-sales personnel on the new vehicle technology and features. I have acted as subject matter expert on technical courses. I also worked with a vendor to design a new class for technicians. I have mentored new Instructors and help cross train them.

Managed a group of 4 other technicians. I dispatched work, offered technical support to the other team technicians. I went for road tests with customers and worked with them to solve issues. I also regularly repaired vehicles, mostly doing electrical and engine management related work.

I was a partner in a high line used car dealership. Our specialty was selling used high line import vehicles from 2-4 years old. We also serviced vehicles 10 years old and newer. I acted as general manager, handling service department operations, accounts payable, accounts receivable and parts inventory. On occasion I handled vehicle sales and motor vehicle transactions, such as loan application, vehicle payoffs, sales orders and titles. I regularly acted as a service advisor, writing up repair orders and estimating repairs. I would go for rides to help solve customer issues and complaints.
