I am a proud alumnus of Washington State University, where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. Since then I have held accounting positions in the restaurant, fuel distribution, and transportation industries, where my responsibilities have gradually and consistently increased over the course of my career.I am currently the Controller at Satellite Specialized Transportation, Inc., located in Bend Oregon. Here I manage a small back-office team who is responsible for supporting our Operations Department which consists of over 30 employees. My role has me working in all aspects of the accounting cycle. From basic AR/AP all the way to month and year-end financial statement reconciliation and presentation. I also act as the in-house legal contact where I regularly review and execute contracts, as well as communicate with our outside counsel on pending legal matters.
