• Directed daily operations of a 75,000 sqft. Non-Profit Food Donation Dry and Cold Storage Distribution Facility and a trucking Fleet servicing 46 Counties, 190 stores Including Wal Mart, Kroger, Whole Foods, Sam’s Club and Costco• Successfully helped develop and worked well within an annual operating budget of 45 million dollars by reducing cost and implementing continuous improvement • Established and maintained processes to accurately manage Second Harvest’s inventory of several thousand SKU’s. Raised Inventory accuracy from 66% to +/- 2% accuracy.• Negotiated with contractors to reduce contract maintenance and vendor costs resulting in a 9% reduction in overall operating costs.

• Directed daily operations of a 60,000 sqft. Retail Returns Facility and shuttle operation servicing The Retail Returns Facility and Direct Model Facility.• Managed Safety effort of 180,000sqft. Direct Model Facility and a 60,000sqft. Retail Returns Facility with 350 full time and temporary employees• Recruited as a contractor/consultant to rectify and restructure all aspects of the US Retail Returns Facility for Dell. Directly responsible for developing sustainable systems, processes, and key metrics around on-time receivables, quality and costs policies to manage the overall value stream while making recommendations to the Dell Supply Chain leadership team in order to build a World Class Retail Returns Center. • Worked directly with retailers such as Best Buy, Staples, Wal Mart, Sam’s Club, Costco, and QVC to standardize processes and communication across the Reverse Logistics organization decreasing returns backlog and increasing product throughput for remanufacturing, bulk lot sales, and disposal dispositions.• Rectified the Retail returns process by developing, implementing and monitoring WMS and return center product flow layout changes using Lean manufacturing and Kaizen techniques. This allowed the Retail Returns business to move into the main Direct Model facility saving Dell over $41,000 dollars a month in leasing fees, utility fees, and other variable costs.• Developed a “Zero Accident" safety culture Program for both facilities by writing and implementing safety policies and procedures in compliance with company, local, state and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules, regulations. • Reviewed current safety procedures and amended as required to keep company compliant with changing regulations. Ensured all training was updated and current and records were maintained. • Responded and provided support to all emergency situations resulting in zero OSHA recordable incidents during my tenure.

• Directed daily operations of a 340,000sqft. Distribution center, a 75,000sqft. Titanium Dioxide manufacturing site, and transportation fleet servicing each facility• Developed an annual budget of 6 million dollars with a net profit margin of 28.9%. Previous annual operating budget was 1.6 million dollars with a profit margin of less than 10%. • Grew operation to 110 full time associates in five years. Previously staffed at 43.• Continuously ensured service levels and operational performance goals were met within prescribed cost, revenue, and profit parameters. Assured that accounts achieved profit standards by total P&L management.• Traveled with Implementation Team successfully starting up Distribution Centers with total supply chain management for customers such as DuPont, Wal Mart, Home Depot, and Johnson & Johnson• Recognized for managing and rebuilding three DuPont distribution centers destroyed by hurricane Katrina. Resulting in minimum profit loss for DuPont.
